Gates McFadden, I only recently have gotten into Star Trek The Next Generation, watching it weekdays on Spike TV. I had heard she was difficult. But to me she was nothing but nice and pretty as can be.....A great finale for a heck of a day.....

Another Chiller Success

Now there was no way I could walk by the ladies of Dark Shadows without a hello. I had met them at 2 Dark Shadows conventions I had gone too. Well the beauties Diana Millay, Katherine Leigh Scott and Marie Wallace....Marie is a wonderful lady and she showed me this new book she wrote on her career, so I bought it she signed the book in side and also a photo. The photo she inscribed to me and my friend but I have custody of it

Neal Adams a great comic book artist. he was a favorite of mine when I collected comic books. a bout a book of his that has sketches he did that were never used in the comic books and he signed it the book was 20.00 the signature was free...a very talented man and very fun to talk to.......

The longest line I stood in was for Barbara Eden. I admit a little dissapointed I was with her. she wasn't very friendly just asked who I wanted the picture signed too and that was it. But you know to be fair she was probably very tired...She had the longest lines all day. And you can read her name so many you can't.....It was a thrill for me anyways ...she still is very pretty.......

Buffy The Vampire Slayer's first major villian was The Master who killed Buffy for the first time. He was played by the talented Mark Metcalf. I love this photo he had and his inscription Lee got Blood. oooooh scary..........

Back in the 80's when I collected about a year I had sent a "starman" lobby card to Jeff Bridges which he signed for me. When i saw Karen Allen was going to be at Chiller I decided to bring the card for her to sign. and she did. what a bright lovely smile this lady has.....Very nice didn't say much other then that was one of her most favorite photos, but a lovely bright woman.....

I didn't think this one was a go. I had heard Cassandra Petersen (Elvira) was a high price charger .but no she was very reasonable and as nice as could be. I told her I sat through more horrible films just to watch her come on with all her quips. and she laughed and said good she hoped I had fun. ....Neat lady and so very pretty.....

OK I broke my rule. I had decided only to get one of each person but I couldn't resist the urge to get one of William Katt as Ralph Hinckley.....just couldn't do it....

I think my biggest happiness was meeting William Katt. The man is amazing still very hot and nice as could be. He looked you directly in the eyes when talking to you and paid 100 percent attention to you. Not looking around like some did, he liked my collage from Pippin so much I volunteered o send a copy and he was very happy for me to do that. We talked about a couple of films he did "First Love," which I really liked and we both agreed it just dissapeared...If you get a chance meet this guy. you won't regret it.........Thanks Don for thinking of me when you saw him. But as you can see Yay I got him.......

Last time I was at Chiller I saw Adrienne Barbeau but didn't get her. Well I could not pass her by twice. She is so tiny and pretty. And if you saw her leaning over her table talking to a little boy who was standing there alone. you would have fallen in love with her. She is so sweet, a ready smile and no airs and took photos with tons of people. I am very glad to have had the oportunity to meet her........

David Faustino (Bud from Married With Children) was standing talking to a man when we went to his table. He again was very nice and cute. He was with his very pretty wife who joked with us about a Boot Camp reality show that he had done. He told us he had a couple of films coming out but thought they might go directly to DVD. I picked a nice photo and his wife told me the dog is their own black lab. both were very nice and he had a very busy line.......

Buffy's mom was sitting next to Miss Beadle from Little House On The Prairie. Charlotte Stewart had admired pictures I had sent her and asked for copies. I brought them to Chiller and gave them to her. She was very grateful. and so cute sitting there needle pointing while waiting for customers. We went over to Kristine Sutherland and picked a photo from her selection. she didn't have many choices unlike many of the others. She was great and when I sid I was sorry when they killed her character off "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," but had figured they always were bringing back the dead on that show so I figured she would show up. she laughed and said yes true but it just wasn't the same being dead..............

We next saw Betsy Palmer walking by and followed her to the table. I really wanted to meet her and it was fun. she was very nice and talked alot about her career she also said she never thought Friday The 13th would be such a success. I have several pictures of her from that movie I wanted something prettier.I had sent this photo to her recently and it came back unsigned....but now it is signed and worth it just to talk to the lady..........

My 2nd success was Kevin Sorbo. Such a handsome guy and really very funny, He was kidding with the people in front of us as the lady gushed all over him. Even to the point where she told her daughter yo say goodbye to daddy indicating Mister Sorbo. The real father laughed but you have to wonder what did the child think was going on......... 

A Chiller Of A Success

Today I went to the Chiller Festival. I didn't think I was going half the time so it actually was a nice surprise that I actually got to go. And I went insane. I will be living on Beans and macaroni for the whole of November to make up for the cash I dropped. ...But boy was it fun. My first sighting was Noah Hathaway who played Boxie on the original "Battlestar Galactica". He was so friendly and funny. But he also told me one of the main reasons I wanted to go was not going to be there Dirk Benedict who hurt his back in a horse riding accident... Get Well soon Dirk!

Duke, Duke, Duke, Duke Of Hazzards

Tom Wopat.....wrote him via his play on Broadway, didn't hear back thought this was a lost cause. Today got back all three photos inscribed and signed by the talented Mister Wopat. This was a great thrill for me. Loved The Dukes when I was young and always thought Tom Wopat and John Schneider had a great chemistry................
